Mount Coot-tha Summit Walk is a 30 minute bushwalk, and we will be starting our walk from the Russell Street entrance to the mountain and reach the Mount Coot-tha Summit Lookout, which is located on Sir Samuel Griffith Drive. The lookout allows for panoramic views of the City of Brisbane. Mount Coot-tha is a mountain and a suburb of the City of Brisbane, Queensland, Australia. This is visible from much of the city of Brisbane. Mount Coot-tha is a popular bushland tourist destination including the Mount Coot-tha Lookout, Brisbane Botanic Gardens and Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium, as well as a mountain drive, bike trails, parks including a waterfall, and television and radio towers. The mountain Mount Coot-tha forms the eastern extent of the Taylor Range and is a prominent landmark approximately six kilometres (4 mi) to the west of the Brisbane central business district. Mount Coot-tha is the source of Ithaca Creek. The mountain has a number of named peaks in the suburb: Constitution Hill (263 metres - 863 ft); Mount Coot-tha (226 metres - 741 ft); The Pinnacle (168 metres - 551 ft); The Summit (287 metres -942 ft).
